PTFE Diaphragm (Teflon Diaphragm)
This type of diaphragm is commonly used in the pharmaceutical, food, chemical, and paint industries due to PTFE (Teflon) being a safe material that can come into contact with food and medicine. It is heat-resistant and also highly resistant to various chemicals.
The diaphragms can be produced in different shapes according to the requirements of the pump or valve they will be used with. Sometimes, they can be reinforced by increasing the thickness or by bonding them with rubber, depending on the suitability for the application.
PTFE Diaphragm
It is widely used in industries that handle aggressive chemicals, as it has excellent heat resistance and high durability.
Properties of PTFE Diaphragm:
- 1. Chemical Resistance: Capable of withstanding a wide range of chemicals and high concentrations.
- 2. Heat Resistance: Can endure temperatures up to 340°C.
- 3. Food Industry Compatibility: Suitable for use in the food industry.
- 4. Weather Resistance: Resistant to weather conditions.
- 5. UV Resistance: Durable against UV light.
6. Pressure Resistance: Withstands pressure
